One of those imports that I can take or leave, is the over-promotion of Black Friday in the United Kingdom. The US readers will well be aware of it… but what’s going on in the UK?
For some of the best deals to watch, HotDeals UK is not a bad place to start.
Most of the major retailers are in on the act with Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys are in on the act, with the department stores such as Argos, John Lewis.
Electronics retailers inducing PC World, Richer Sounds and Game are also in the action. MyMemory is also holding a sale too
The main pusher of Black Friday of course is Amazon in the UK. along with Rakuten joining the party.
Toys are well met from Toys R Us and Smyths
For those wanting photogifts, Photobox are offering 50% off using a code – BlackFriday
Surprisingly, Apple isn’t taking part at the time of writing (another pusher of Black Friday in the UK).
Meanwhile in the world of travel, there’s not a lot to be honest. Expedia/Hotels.com are showing their usual “sales”
Whatever you’re shopping for – it could be worth a punt today. However, please ensure you 1) can afford it and 2) buy it on a card that offers points or cashback on it.
