It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, commencing its long take off run is an Iberia Airbus A340-300 at Madrid–Barajas Airport on a sunny March day.
Iberia have a total of seven A340-300s in its long haul fleet, suplimented by the larger A340-600 and the twin-engined Airbus A330.
The Iberia Airbus A340-300’s are due to be withdrawn in 2016, to be replaced by twin engined Airbus A330-200s.
Sadly A340s aren’t cheap to keep in the air any more…
More Airplane Art next week!
