Remember to register to vote!

20/04/2015 by Kevincm

This is mainly aimed at UK people… Everyone else tune in around 1pm…

If you haven’t done so already, remember you must have registered by midnight tonight (2oth April) to register in the upcoming General Election.

You can register to vote at https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

If you are away on polling day and need to register to vote by post, your deadline is the 21st April. You will need to contact your local council and register by 17:00 BST. See here.

Whilst voting in elections is not compulsory, it also denies you a voice in the democratic process that there is.

If you’re confused if you can vote or not, head to BBC News who have a detailed explanation.
