It seems those in France are enjoying yet another strike by French Air Traffic Controllers.
This time, Pairs Orly, Beauvais, Lyon, Nice and Marseille are all hit by strike action, with airlines requested to reduce their traffic by at least 20% – and Orly to take a cut between 33% and 50%.

As well as flights to the destinations above, airlines maybe making diversions from the normal routes as they adjust to reduced flow controls in certain corridors.
As such – expect short notice cancellations on some routes that go to (or going through) France. Airlines are favouring operating long haul services over short haul, and as a result – some cancellations are inevitable.
Strike action is due to end at 05:00UTC 22nd March
Suffice to say, some airlines aren’t impressed. Step forward Ryanair who are condemning the strike.
It seems Ryanair are keeping better count than me – with Ryanair calculating that there have been 41 strikes since 2009 and are getting more than a little unimpressed by it. The PR makes for entertaining reading.
None the less, plan for delays and disruption.
