Yes, it’s the decision to build a new runway in the London Area according to BBC News
Heathrow Airport from the air – and yes, only two runways for now – Image, Economy Class and Beyond
This has been pushed back further as the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom struggle to contain the infighting and squabbling after the bruising EU referendum campaign – that has left the party seeking a new prime minister.
Currently in the running to get a new runway is Heathrow Airport (which will be their 3rd runway) and Gatwick Airport (this will be their 2nd runway).
The decision to build the new runway has been kicked into the long grass more often than not, with the Davis report, environmental impact reports.
This is the result of being a political football, as well as as the previous governments not taking action.
The Transport Secretary – Patrick McLoughlin said that the decision has been delayed until at least October.
And thus, airports, businesses, residents and passengers are left in limbo again as the UK Government fiddles around.
Sadly, I have a feeling since the vote for the UK to leave the European Union – the decision to build a new runway could be delayed for a long time….

Well, at least with Johnson out of the running, the case for Boris Island won’t be reopened. If the new PM and negotiating team are in place by then, October is possible, especially if the new government looks for a big project to send a positive message but also recognizes the flawed business case for HS2.
