It seems Heathrow Express is trying to steer people to their services, with a new offer for a £25 return between Paddington and Heathrow Airport.
Heathrow Express Class 332 at departing Heathrow Central station – Image, Economy Class and Beyond (and I need to shoot a better image of this – granted).
The offer is in two parts, for both Express and Business First Classes:
- Express Summer Saver Return: £25
- Business First Summer Saver Return: £38
The sale goes on until the 31st August 2016, with return portions valid for a month.
You can book the tickets in advanced, or buy them on the day. If you buy them on the day, you cannot use them between 7am and 10am in the morning. Tickets brought online in advanced are valid at all times.
Full terms and conditions here.
Whilst this makes Heathrow Express a little more bearable when having to paying to ride it, there are cheaper ways of travelling on the service – namely booking in advanced.
Of course, there are plenty of other options to get to and from Heathrow as I’ve discussed in the past.
The offer qualifies as spend for Heathrow Rewards too.
But if you can’t book in advanced, and need a return ticket to/from Heathrow – this isn’t a bad offer in the least.
