Jetstar Asia earlier this year did a great April’s Fool video about how it was going to introduce Singlish about its planes.

Well…. it seems April Fools can sometimes turn into realities – as Jetstar Asia will be turning some its announcements into Singlish for a day on the 9th August
Why? Apart from “Because Jetstar Can”, it’s also 51st Singapore National Day.
Customers flying into Singapore on selected Jetstar Asia (coded as 3K) flights can expect to hear a Singlish version of the on board announcements.
Which flights however – you’ll need to ask Jetstar Asia via their Facebook feed.

So if you’re flying on Jetstar Asia into Singapore on the 9th August… brush up on Singlish Lah.
