Bad news for those you think there’s no better way to fly as the Vereinigung Cockpit union will be taking its pilots out on strike again.

The next round of strikes commence onTuesday and Wednesday, with the following affected:
- Normal service on Monday 28th November
- Domestic and Continental Services will be suffering industrial action on Tuesday 29th November
- Domestic, Continental and Intercontinental services will be suffering industrial action on Wednesday 30th November
This will be the 15th walkout since 2014.
It’s anticipated that Lufthansa mainline services will be impacted during the strikes, with routes hit as described above.
Route operated by Germanwings, Eurowings, Air Dolomiti, Austrian Airlines, SWISS and Brussels Airlines are unaffected
Lufthansa will publish its cancellation list on Monday by 14:00CET.

It goes without saying – be prepared for disruption next week if you’re flying Lufthansa and have backup plans in case you’re hit.
Although you would hope that Lufthansa and Vereinigung Cockpit can get around a table to iron out issues. However, we all know the differences that management and unions can have… over anything.
