EVA Air is at it again at it with the launch of a new livery. And it seems they’re reaching into the list of Sanrio friends, with Bad Badtz-Maru getting his own plane
And of course, there’s a pretty painted Airbus A330-300 to go with it.

So, who is Bad Badtz-Maru?
Bad Badtz-Maru is a male penguin with spiky hair. He has many different facial expressions and poses, but a common expression is of pulling one eye down and sticking out his tongue, a gesture equivalent to blowing a raspberry.
Which is nice.
Of course, this being EVA Air, there are the appropriate service items…
And of course, Bad Badtz-Maru themed food!
Bad Badtz-Maru Travel Fun is operating from the 4th March between Taipei-Seoul (Incheon) and Taipei-Fukuoka.

It’s good to see that EVA Air is showing more of the Sanrio family. A shame they haven’t featured my current favourite character… Aggretsuko. Now that could be an interesting plane to paint…
