I haven’t written much about the British Airways strikes recently – mainly as the airline has had something else on its mind to fix.
But it seems that Unite is suspending the upcoming Mixed Fleet strike action according to the BBC.

Around ,900 staff had been due to walk out for this strike.
Unite and British Airways will now attempt to find a solution with ACAS to bring a conculsion to the dispute.
At the core of it is the question of money, with Unite claiming Mixed Fleet crews pay – as well as benefits taken away from crew who took part in the previous rounds of strike action.
Suffice to say, the suspension of any strike is a welcome note for the traveller who doesn’t have to worry about cancellations and rebooking – rather they can continue flying .
Let’s hope both sides reach a settlement… that doesn’t involve airline staff going out on strike.
