The joy of Malware has hit Hyatt Hotels again – this time affecting hotels chain in Asia, The Middle East, South America and the United States of America.

The malware was loaded at Hyatt-managed locations between 18 March 2017 and 2 July 2017, affecting locations in
- The USA (Guam, Hawaii and Puerto Rico)
- Brazil
- China
- Columbia
- India
- Indonesia
- Japan
- Malaysia
- Mexico
- Saudi Arabia
- South Korea

This is the second time this has happened in two years – with Hyatt being hit in December 2015 according to The Register.
Whilst Cyber Security is such an important thing – it seems that sometimes, there are little kinks in the armor – or a protocol not being followed.

As usual – check your statements for signs of odd activity – and if you’ve stayed in one of these properties – it might be time to get a new card issued with a new number on it.
