Lufthansa is planning to increase its network coverage in Canada in 2020, with the planned addition of a route between Frankfurt and Ottawa.

For Lufthansa, Ottawa will be the fourth destination the airline will serve in Canada. The route will run from summer 2020 as a five-times a week.
Planned operation is as follows:
LH472 DEPART FRA 13:45 ARRIVE YOW 16:05 LH473 DEPART YOW 17:50 ARRIVE FRA 07:15+1 Operates Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Booked Equipment: Airbus A340-300 Commences 16th May 2020
Lufthansa will utilise a three-class Airbus A340-300, configured with a 279 seat configuration (Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class).
The flight is being operated as part of the joint venture with Air Canada.
Bookings are open as of today (11th September) for those who need a non-stop flight between Frankfurt and the Capital of Canada.
