Leisure operator Jet2.com has confirmed it is to extend its grounding until at least the 17th June. This will impact both Jet2 flights and Jet2Holidays packages.

The move comes due to COVID-19 and the uncertainty it is causing in when the airline can recommence their flights and holidays programme.
The airline is keeping the decision under constant review, in line with guidance from Governments and the relevant authorities (such as when movement restrictions are lifted and borders re-open.
If you’re travelling before this date, Jet2 is asking passengers not to contact them, but rather the airline will be proactively contacting customers in departure date order to discuss their options, one of which is rebooking their holiday to a later date.
Of course, you can negotiate with them for a refund as they have cancelled your trip.
For now, you’ll just have to listen to Jess Glynne on a loop and dream of Sun Sea and Sangria.
The airline operates 94 aircraft in its fleet (Airbus and Boeing narrow-body frames), operating to 84 destinations (a mixture of seasonal and all-year round), with bases in the UK and Spain.
