It seems Malaysia Airlines is going to follow Qantas and British Airways, by selling off its excess amenity items to the public.

Monitising stock on the ground
With premium passengers rather thin on the ground at the moment, like Qantas and British Airways, this is going to help airlines move stock that is sitting in warehouses – and them having to send it for disposal/land-fill.
And it gives the airline a chance to recover the costs of purchasing the stock, whilst giving those who crave a little bit of aviation memorabilia in the house.
Will I get any of it?
I’ve got to admit, that blanket looks awfully tempting. As well as some peanuts. The highlight of any Malaysia Airlines flight.
