Whilst we’re heading into the summer season, Spanish carrier LEVEL is thinking about Winter 2025/26.
Between 26 October 2025 and 28 March 2026, LEVEL will offer 51% more seats than in the previous winter, whilst consolidating its position at Barcelona El Prat Airport.
During the peak winter months, the airline will reach record levels of activity on virtually all of its routes. With a total offer of more than 400,000 seats, growth will be especially noticeable in the North American market, where capacity will increase by 64% on routes connecting Barcelona with Boston, New York, Miami and Los Angeles.
North America
In terms of capacity growth, North America continues to be a focus, with Barcelona to New York-JFK being boosted to a daily operation between November and January, with the service dropping to six days a week in February and March.
Boston will see five flights a week during the peak period of November through January, whilst Miami will have four flights a week in December and January, operating three weekly flights the rest of the months.
Finally, Los Angeles will be maintained with the current three flights a week.
South America
Between Barcelona and Buenos Aires, LEVEL will offer a minimum of 9 weekly frequencies and, for the first time, will reach 11 weekly flights during November, December and January, even reaching 12 frequencies in specific weeks of November. This increase responds to the growing demand between the two cities and reinforces LEVEL’s commitment to offer greater flexibility, variety of schedules and an improved travel experience.
The route to Santiago de Chile also presents new features and will operate, for the first time, with five weekly frequencies during the months of December, January and February. The rest of the season, it will maintain four flights a week.

Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial and Network Officer of LEVEL, said:
“The increase in our programming for next winter reflects LEVEL’s firm commitment to Barcelona and our commitment to continue strengthening its connections with strategic destinations in the Americas,” says
“This growth, which is possible thanks to the recent expansion of our fleet, allows us to offer more options to our clientele and continue to contribute to the development of long-haul in Barcelona.”
Consolidating Barcelona
LEVEL is continuing to grow at Barcelona-El Prat, offering 18% of the seats that will be offered during the 2025/26 winter season, whilst keeping pace.
It’s a sustained growth which has been gradual for the airline (given other LEVEL units, including OpenSkies in France, as well as a short-haul LEVEL airline, were all dismantled during the 2020 era).
In the time since then, LEVEL has switched from being a brand of Iberia to being its own airline, flying with its own Airline Operators Certificate – allowing it the flexibility to grow beyond Iberia’s needs and wants.
It’s interesting to see how this long-haul low-cost operation is attempting to keep itself sustainable. With new aircraft coming in the future, LEVEL might have some more opportunities to take advantage of.
