This week, we have a United Airlines Boeing 787-8 on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International as it completes its descent in the evening sun.
United Airlines operates a fleet of 12 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners in its widebody fleet, supporting connectivity to international destinations.
The airline also operates Boeing 767-300ER, Boeing 767-400ER, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 in its widebody operation.
The aircraft in the picture is N20904. It joined the United Airlines fleet in September 2012, making the aircraft just under 13 years old at the time of writing.
