Emirates adds further capacity to Manila

19/01/2026 by Kevincm Leave a Comment

It seems that growth is on the agenda, with Emirates adding further capacity between Dubai and Manila.

Emirates Boeing 777-300ER approaching Chicago O'Hare

The airline will add four extra flights a week between the two destinations from 2nd April. The planned operations are:

EK330 DEPART DXB 12:25 ARRIVE MNL 01:25+1
EK331 DEPART MNL 03:25 ARRIVE DXB 08:25

Commences 2nd April
Operates from Dubai on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
Operates from Manila on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays
Booked Equipment: Three-Class Emirates Boeing 777-ER (First, Business and Economy)

Emirates will deploy a Boeing 777-300ER for these extra flights, featuring 8 private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class, and 304 seats in Economy Class. The move will offer further connectivity to its customers, as well as provide connections for the large Filipino diaspora across Emirates’ global network.

The airline currently offers up to three daily flights between Dubai and Manila, bringing the airline up to 25 flights a week between the two cities.

The new flights will also shorten connections to and from Canada, the United States, as well as the late morning European departures, including Milan, London, Budapest, and Athens via Dubai. With this new flight, an extra 20 tonnes of cargo in its bellyhold are unlocked, allowing high-value cargo to flow between the two destinations.

Building connectivity for three decades

Emirates launched services to Manila in 1990 and has progressively grown its operations to include a circular service to Cebu and Clark. The airline currently serves the Philippines with 28 weekly flights.

Emirates also has a partnership with Philippine Airlines, providing access to domestic destinations as well as through baggage transfer.

For passengers, extra connectivity will be welcome, be they business, leisure, mariners, or diaspora, travelling to and from the Philippines.
