It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Eurowings Airbus A320neo being pushed back at Hamburg Airport, in a special livery – “Yes to Europe”, with the Lufthansa Group supporting a “Free and Strong Europe”.
Eurowings operates a fleet of eight Airbus A320neo aircraft in its German-registered fleet. They also operate the Airbus A319, Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321 and Airbus A321neo in their fleet. Meanwhile, Eurowings Europe (Malta) operates Airbus A319 and Airbus A320 under the Malta registry,
The aircraft are used to connect destinations across Europe and beyond.
This aircraft – D-AENE was delivered from the Airbus factory straight to Eurowings in July 2022, and has remained in the fleet since then. It has been based out of Düsseldorf and Hamburg, operating to destinations including London-Heathrow, Kavala, Fuerteventura, Heraklion, Vienna, Porto, Manchester, Tunis, Ponta Delgada, Geneva, Nice, Rome-Fiumicino, Munich, Palma de Mallorca, Edinburgh, La Palma and Barcelona.
