Air India swaps in 787s early – now operating on the Mumbai – London Heathrow route.

It seems that Air India have decided to push forward their plane swap around, with the Mumbai to London route to be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner instead of a Boeing 777-300ER. In what can only be described as a good move, British Airways will be shifting its Dublin and Belfast City flights from from Heathrow Terminal 1 to Heathrow Terminal 5. SilkAir begins Airbus to Boeing transition, takes delivery of its first 737-800

Finnair increases flights from Helsinki to Heathrow

Finnair seems to on a roll, with news that they are to add a fifth daily service between Helsink and London Heathrow Airport. The new timings work out nicely for those who want to spend a day in London, and then arrive back in the dead of night in Finland, whilst the inbound timing allows for a reasonable workday before heading to the airport.
