BA762 Incident: Engine Cowling doors were unlatched.

The UK Air Accident Investigation Branch has confirmed that the fan cowl doors were left unlatched post maintenance on the plane, that lead to the incident of Flight BA762. UK Competition Commision may force Ryanair to give up its holding in Aer Lingus

Milan airports to go on strike tommorow – EasyJet to cancels/divert flights

SEA Group (owners of the airports in Milan) have confirmed that a 24 hour strike at the airport is going ahead on Wednesday 29th May, affecting Milan-Linate and Milan-Malpensa airports. Pakistan International Airlines PL709 diverted under fighter escort.

Another breaking news story today is that a Pakistan International Airlines aircraft has diverted from its journey to Manchester to Stansted Airport.
