Wizz Air takes the Wizz – to charge for “Large Hand luggage items”

Yes, you read that right. Wizz Air is copying that wonderful customer service lead airline "Spirit Airlines"  and going to conduct a trial on the London Luton to  Katowice route. Delta to introduce Boeing 717’s into their fleet

It seems that a deal has been hammered out over the 717's with Delta and Boeing, Southwest Airlines. The agreement is for 88 Boeing 717-200's to be leased from Boeing Capital or subleased from Southwest Airlines, with 3 aircraft a month to be delivered from August 2013. Emirates Dubai – London service switch to A380’s… completely!

Well it's taken long enough for Emriates, but it seems they now have enough of an A380 fleet to take Dubai to London Heathrow to A380 aircraft only.  There are a few changes here, so pay attention. Air India pilots strike to end

In what only can be described as good news, Air India pilots have called off their strike action after two months of protests. The dispute centred around training over the pilots flying the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with over 400 pilots involved in the action, and 101 pilots fired. Emriates to introduce its A380 to Moscow

The tendrils of Emirates continues to expand, this time with a change of services to Moscow. Emriates is planning to deploy a version of their Airbus A380 from 1st December 2012 to Moscow Domodedovo. Jetstar Japan commences service

Another part of Jetstar took to the air today with Jetstar Japan commencing service.
