Thomson Airways updates its 787 plans – announces first destinations and operations dates

Thomson Airways have today confirmed the first destinations for their batch of 787-8 Dreamliners. Thomson Airways is intending to operate the aircraft from Gatwick, Manchester, East Midlands and Glasgow to Cancun and Florida from 1st May 2013. Transaero formally commits to 4 Boeing 787 Dreamliners

Transaero of Russia has confirmed and placed a firm order for four Boeing 787 Dreamliners.  The airline has opted for the baseline model of the aircraft - the 787-8. Alexander Pleshakov (Transaero's Board Chairman) states the planes will be used for both Russian domestic routes and international services. JAL Confirms 787 Delivery Date: 25th March

Japan Airlines has formally confirmed that Boeing is due to deliver their first Dreamliner to the group on the 25th March 2012.
