Pre-tax profit was up from £70m in 2010, to £426m However, with all these good numbers, there is a heck of a sting in the tail. British Airways launch a new Ad Campaign.. and I like it…

13/02/2012 by Kevincm

Well, here's the new advert from British Airways in the run-up to London 2012, telling the stories of 5 bags and who gets to the luggage collection belt first. Now if we can put aside the luggage issues that Heathrow T5 suffered on opening (and lets hope they don't suffer the same), it's not a bad advert, with the sentimental build-up for the London 2012 Olympics - least … [Read more...]

... it could be worth checking your accounts. The first round of bonus Avios has turned up in my account, taking me to a healthy start in Avios points. Or a PR bunny got a good supply of free chocolates out of someone. At Gatwick, British Airways customers have a double chance to be romantic this month. On Valentine's Day, every passenger will be given a heart-shaped … [Read more...]

BMI Futures Week – Things to think about…

23/01/2012 by Kevincm

Well I was going to write about the Virgin threat, but lets be frank - It isn't creditable unless they manage to throw a big spanner with the EC/Monopolies Commission. So let me wrap up this discussion for a bit - until it all goes pear shaped (which knowing BMI - is entirely likely) Status - If you've got to a certain point, hang on tight. If you're short before say April, … [Read more...]
