Brussels Airlines is continuing to strengthen its operations after launching a Brussels to Mumbai route.
The airline is to expand its operation to Mumbai, with it increasing flights from five times a week to six.

The additional departure now operates Saturday (from Brussels) and Sunday (from Mumbai). The expanded timetable is below:
SN601 DEPART BRU 10:20 ARRIVE BOM 23:25 SN602 DEPART BOM 01:25 ARRIVE BRU 06:35 SN601 does not operate Tuesdays SN602 does not operate Wednesdays Commences 29th October 2017 Booked Equipment: Airbus A330 Data - Brussels Airlines
It seems that the introduction of the Mumbai route has been successful, with Brussels Airlines carrying over 37,000 passengers since the introduction of the route in March this year – and more importantly, the airline reporting high seating load factors on the route.
Brussels Airline operates a three-cabin service aboard its A330s, split between Business Class, Economy Privilege and Economy Class.
The extra seats will be welcome if the high load factors continue to persist. More importantly is that there is a commitment to expand in a measured growth way – with the airline trying a route, finding passengers are using it – and releasing more capacity.
And hopefully a measured growth like this will allow Brussels Airlines to plan for the future – even if it is under the Eurowings brand.
