Emirates to introduce A380 to Zurich

For those who love the A380, and also love Switzerland, good news! Emirates will be operating an A380 service between Dubai and Zürich. Jetstar prepares for the 787

Jetstar - Qantas's low cost arm is preparing for the arrival of the Boeing 787's. The first aircraft will join the Jetstar fleet in September 2013, with commercial service due to commence in November. The Bombardier CSeries aircraft is on a bit of a roll at the moment, with Bombardier confirming that Gulf Air will be taking 10 CSeries aircraft, with options for 6 more. American Airlines to boost Dallas and Miami services to London

It seems London services are going to be a major benificiary of a service upgrade between Dallas Fort Worth and London, as well as the Miami to London route. BA762 Incident: Engine Cowling doors were unlatched.

The UK Air Accident Investigation Branch has confirmed that the fan cowl doors were left unlatched post maintenance on the plane, that lead to the incident of Flight BA762. During take off, the cowls were lost on both engines, resulting in a punctured a fuel pipe in the right-hand engine - as well as the plane landing with the cowling's gone. Air Canada to deploy its high density 777-300ER on Vancouver to Hong Kong
