Birmingham airport attracts a full time EasyJet service

EasyJet is deciding to risk it again at Birmingham, with the launch of a Birmingham to Belfast International Airport (Aldergrove) Service. Thomson Airways updates its 787 plans – announces first destinations and operations dates

Thomson Airways have today confirmed the first destinations for their batch of 787-8 Dreamliners. Thomson Airways is intending to operate the aircraft from Gatwick, Manchester, East Midlands and Glasgow to Cancun and Florida from 1st May 2013. Virgin A330 Incident at Gatwick – All safe – Gatwick Reopened with delays

Virgin flight VS027 en-route to Orlando in the USA encountered problems in flight, and was forced to return to Gatwick to perform an emergency landing.
