It seems like Emirates is happy swapping its fleet around, and deploying its A380s around the world, with Morocco joining the A380 network
Emirates A380 at Birmingham Airport – Image, Economy Class and Beyond.
Emirates will deploy an A380 to Casablanca in Morocco – replacing the existing Boeing 777-300ER being used on the route.
The timings look a little like this:
EK751 DEPART DXB 07:25 ARRIVE CMN 12:55 EK752 DEPART CMN 14:55 ARRIVE DXB 01:25+1 Commences 26th March with an Airbus A380 Data: Emirates
The timings should meet the late night long haul departure bank from Dubai in both directions for those connecting through Emireates hub.
Emirates will use a Three-Class configured A380 on its new route, configured as:
- 14 First Class Suites
- 76 Business Class Seats
- 401 Economy Class Seats
- Total: 491 Seats.
By sending an A380 instead of a Boeing 777-300ER, Emirates will add 1834 seats to this route, meeting what the airline calls “Increasing demand”.
It seems that expansion is still on the cards for Emirates with the change for the Casablanca/Morocco route – but a much more measured expansion.
Watching how the Emirates route network will develop in 2017 will be something to watch.

I like this, especially if it’s possible to find one of the cheap fares from Morrocco to the world.
