Emirates to launch their refurbished 777s to Vienna

05/12/2024 by Kevincm

For Emirates, Vienna continues to mean something to them, as the airline plans to operate its refurbished Boeing 777-300ER fleet to the Austrian captial.

Emirates will deploy its retrofitted Boeing Boeing 777 on flights EK125/126 between Dubai and Vienna starting on 3 January 2025.

This will make Vienna the fourth city in the airline’s European network to receive its enhanced, four-class Boeing 777 aircraft.

Planned operation is as follows:

EK125 DEPART DXB 15:450 ARRIVE VIE 18:50
EK126 DPEART VIE 21:45 ARRIVE DXB 06:25+1

As a refresher, Emirates operates its latest products, which introduce a Premium Economy cabin, a refitted Business Class, and updated interiors. The four-class Boeing 777 features 8 First Class suites, 40 Business Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 24 spacious Premium Economy seats, and 256 ergonomically designed Economy seats.

On a four-class Boeing 777 aircraft, the 24 Premium Economy seats are arranged in a 2-4-2 layout with 6-way adjustable headrests for added comfort and space.

Meanwhile, the 40-seater business class cabin abandons the 2-3-2 configuration for a much more premium 1-2-1 formation, with a 78.6″ flatbed seat and a 23.8″ screen to immerse yourself in.

Expanding the retrofitted reach

Emirates is continuing its refit project that will see a majority of its Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER fleet retrofitted. The in-demand Premium Economy and  Business Class will be refitted with new seats, and the interiors in First and Economy Class will be tidied and refreshed.

So far the retrofitted aircraft have spread their wings far and wide, with them currently flying to Geneva, Zurich, Brussels, Haneda, Riyadh, Kuwait, Dammam and Chicago.

With Emirates selecting Vienna as its next destination for its retrofitted aircraft, the city must mean something to them.

Ooooohhhh Vienna.
