Emirates adds Premium Seating capacity to four cities

26/08/2025 by Kevincm Leave a Comment

Emirates is adding new premium capacity to its routes, with the airline layering more of its Airbus A350 as well as retrofitted Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s, with the Premium Economy cabin making its presence known.

The addition of the latest Premium Economy and Business Class seats on more scheduled services to/from Amman, Mumbai, Muscat and Bahrain. Its passengers will have further opportunities to experience the updated product, as well as a more consistent experience when connecting through Dubai to destinations also served by the airline’s Airbus A350 and retrofitted Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft.

Emirates’ updated A380s, Boeing 777s and latest A350 aircraft will operate on the following schedules:

  • EK903/904 to/from Amman will operate with a four-class A380 with refreshed interiors, including Premium Economy, from 26 October 2025. Both services to Amman will have the retrofitted product.
  • EK504/505  to/from Mumbai will receive a retrofitted Boeing 777 starting on 26 October, with its passengers having the opportunity to experience the latest cabins on 22 weekly flights.
  • EK862/863 to/from Muscat will gain an Airbus A350-900, with all 9 weekly flights going to the new equipment type. These flights operate on Thursdays and Saturdays.
  • EK833/834 to/from Bahrain will have an additional retrofitted Boeing 777 on its services every Thursday from 4 December. Once deployed, Bahrain will be exclusively served with aircraft fitted with the retrofitted cabins, including Premium Economy and refreshed Business Class.

As usual, aircraft deployment may be advanced if released earlier from refurbishment, so keep an eye on those bookings.

Tickets can be booked on the Emirates site, the Emirates App, Emirates Retail stores or via both online and offline travel agents via the usual distribution channels.

A Growing Deployment

These deployments boost the airline’s Premium Economy cabin offering on more than 635 weekly flights across its network. Considering that a few years ago, Emirates was just about to roll out Premium Economy, it’s a big step forward

By winter, the airline will serve 68 cities with aircraft fitted with its Premium Economy product, and 36 of them all-exclusively with the cabin. That gives Emirates around 1.8 million Premium Economy seats on its network, scaling up to 2 million by the end of 2025.

With more aircraft getting the refitted business and premium economy cabins, it will offer product consistency as passengers change flights – something for passengers to look forward to.
