Ryanair continues to be in a bit of a pickle, with 50 flights a day scrubbed from its schedule and crew taking leave rather than £12,000.
So it hasn’t taken long for Aer Lingus and Eurowings to take revenge in a Ryanair-eque way.
First up is Aer Lingus who dropped this lovely one yesterday:
We don’t want to see anyone grounded this October, so we’ve extended our #HappyWinter Sale! https://t.co/8jQHW76TiW pic.twitter.com/ONcrmJDakw

Aer Lingus will extend their Winter sale to cover the period that Ryanair is grounded. The grounded planes are a nice touch too in the continual tittle-tattle between the two airlines.
Next up is Eurowings… and they’ve just gone straight to jugular with two tweets today:

… in German…

… and in English.
What’s striking for Eurowings is this is not their sort of style when it comes to attacking (nor the style of any Lufthansa Group airline). Instead, they’ve named names and people… and are just running with it.
Ryanair has been quick in the past to jump on others misfortune – this time – it seems others are kindly repaying the favours they’ve been dealing with for a long time…
For now, passengers have choices if they need to re-schedule, without breaking the bank – and that’s a welcome relief to normal.
… even if everyone is fighting around with handbags.

It’s about time someone is giving Ryanair their comuppance. It’s gone on far too long treating people like cattle… pack them in and give them little..?
